Plate 207:  Constructing "E.L.L.Y." columns in the structural model, Part 3
(This plate added NOV 2003)

Here we are taking an actual measurement of the position of an embankment column (E.L.L.Y. column). We measure the distance in inches, parallel to the north face of the layout, between the north corner of the embankment column and a fixed reference point. In this measurement, the fixed reference point is the east face of upper-level column 10.

Note: in this picture, north is "down", south is "up".
