Plate 78:  we test four different key-light effects with a silver pendant

In each of the four photos contained in this plate, a silver pendant been displayed with the Black Castle acting as a backdrop. The setting has been entirely draped in black velvet cloth, similar to the cloth used by jewelers in their display cases. The four photos were taken from identical angles. Observe the extreme swamping effect of the 100-watt floodlamp in the key light position.
