Plate 89:  Creating boxes for unboxed items, Part 2: a box made by the Collector for a Churchill Mark IV tank
(This plate added AUG 2004)

Here we see a box that was made by the Collector for the Authenticast Churchill Mark IV tank shown in Plate 88.

The box was constructed from scrap cardboard and covered with glossy blue adhesive contact paper. The box has a removable cover, to which is affixed a pen-and-ink drawing of the Churchill Mark IV model tank.

The drawing was made by the Collector with a felt-tip black pen on scrap paper, using the model tank as a subject.
