Plate 81: Britains Ltd. catalogues from 1950, 1965 and 1966

Here we see the covers of three different toy catalogues from Britains Ltd. The catalogue on the left is the 102-page 105th Edition, published in January, 1950. The other two catalogues are the 44-page 1965 Edition and the 47-page 1966 edition.
The 1950 Edition contains descriptions of the Farm Series and Zoo Series of hollow-cast metal models, as well as the British Commonwealth of Nations military series and the Armies of the World series. The 1965 and 1966 Editions do not cover the Farm Series and Zoo Series. Many of the sets that are illustrated in these catalogues are possessed by the Collector. --more-- |
