Plate 24:  The master switchboard of the Collections Database
(This plate added FEB 2004)

HE accompanying computer-screen image shows the master switchboard of the computer database that is designed to catalogue the records for every item in the entire collection.
A master switchboard is a computer screen that contains buttons and drop-down lists that can be clicked with a mouse. Clicking the appropriate buttons and list-items results in the appearance of various other screens, such as subsidiary switchboards, data-entry screens, printable reports, and images.
