Here we see a zoom-closeup photo of one of the toy soldiers from the two formations shown in Plate 97.

This soldier is uniformed in a kurta-style coat with a green sash.

The ruler at the right shows that this figure is approximately 2-1/4 inches high. Strictly speaking, this metal soldier, if his head-covering were removed, would stand at a height of 54 millimeters. At the time this figure was made (early mid-twentieth century), toy soldiers which stood at a height of 54 millimeters were said to be in standard scale.
