Plate 113:  Creating boxes for unboxed items, Part 26: how a box can be used for display

In this photo, the finished box is shown with its cover off, displaying the three toy soldiers contained within.

This is how a shopkeeper might have displayed this set of soldiers to his customers in the days when boxes such as this were fashionable.

One of the comforts of collecting is that the collector is able to establish his own fashions and standards, regardless of the customs of the marketplace.
