Plate 59:  View looking west at the "Flying Scotsman"
(This plate added SEP 2003)

In this view, the Hornby "Flying Scotsman" train is stopped at the upper level near the switch (British usage: point ) that joins the elevated track to the beginning of the descending spiral. The black object fastened to the track under the locomotive is a Hornby power connecting clip, which connects the track to the 12-volt DC cable from the train controller.
