Plate 20:  Underside of the baseboard, showing construction details

HE baseboard (shown in Plate 1) is supported upon a five-foot steel-leg folding office table. A “box cover”, constructed from 1-inch by 6-inch pine shelving, fits closely around the top of the supporting table.
The furring strips that reinforce the particleboard can be seen above the “box cover”, to which they are affixed by corner brackets. SUBJECT: baseboard underside, showing 'box cover' construction
