Plate 269: Concept-3, Part 4: first-radius curves are added to the one-twelfth scale track template

| The one-twelfth scale track template, first seen in Plate 268, has been updated to include "first radius" curved track. The accompanying picture shows the tools used to update the track template: a six-scale architect's ruler (we use the 1 scale), a bow compass (note the center-wheel adjustment bar), a fine-point pencil and a fine-point black pen. Plate 270 shows the track template in greater detail. |
