Plate 126:  Operational testing for the proposed locomotive service yard
(This plate added OCT 2003)

This view, looking west, shows the entire three-car "Flying Scotsman" train head-on. The train is at rest upon the upper level after several successful back-and-forth test runs between the location of the proposed locomotive service yard and the main running loop at the upper level. The single spur track that represents the location of the proposed service yard can be seen (out of focus in this view) extending to the southwest below the upper-level roadbed.

The small structure in the foreground is a 00-scale trackside hut that is provided with the Hornby point motor housing kit.
