Plate 42:  Constructing the Black Castle, Part 8: we have dusted the floor, and we have also rolled out a black carpet!
(This plate added MAR 2004)

The dusty floor, evident in Plate 41, has now been swept. As an added precaution, a black carpet has been placed underneath the marching soldiers.

The black carpet is actually a piece of black paper from the big roll first shown in Plate 3. This same piece of paper was also used in Plate 11, before the black setting for small displays was constructed.
